The Electronic Data Systems (EDS) Shadow Patent Office (SPO) site provides a search capability against the full text of the 1.7 million U.S. patents issued since January, 1972. The Shadow Patent Office allows users to browse recent patent titles (free) provided they register with the SPO. You must be must be a registered user to search recent patents, use the Patent Search Service, or use the message board.
